Look at the beautiful postcard
that I received in the mail from Sheila!
It's almost just like looking out my front window!
I can take it to Texas with me
so I don't forget!
Thanks, Sheila!
A few finishes, finally.
Sometimes, I work on so many things at once,
it takes me awhile to finish any of them.
This Pineapple Blossom quilt has been a WIP
for a very long time.
Each center square carries a signature.
I will be gifting this to a long time friend who's husband is very sick.
She needs a perpetual warm embrace!
This baby/toddler quilt is a top I made in Texas
and brought back to finish on the Janome.
It still lacks a label.
And that's about all!
Today, I'm linking up to
Thanks for stopping by!

The baby quilt is lovely! Are the centres kaleidoscopes or a square cut from fabric? Stunning fabric.

Hello, the postcard scene is beautiful. I love the quilts, they are gorgeous. Enjoy your day and the week ahead!
Woo Whoo for finished WIP's! I'm sure your friend will love the sweet pineapple quilt. And the card you received is too cool. Is the foam on the waves small wispy pieces of batting?
Congrats! TWO striking finishes to double our pleasure :)
I adore the brave, white binding. And part red too, it gives a dramatic finish!
The whitecaps look couched? The landscape is such a treat!

Two beautiful finishes, and a terrific postcard. Not a bad week! I do love both the quilts, and you are one lucky duck to receive that card from Sheila.
I have yet to make a postcard. Did that really get mailed to you without an envelope? Like a regular postcard? I would be afraid to do that. Or did she put it in an envelope? Just curious.
Your two finishes are so pretty - It is so thoughtful to gift the first one to your friend. She will treasure it and receive comfort from the gift.
Beautiful colors in the baby quilt! It's really striking with all the black background/sashing.
