  2. I went to an Alpaca show once for fun and felt the same way. Sweet faced, shy critters and all that lovely yarn.

  3. Are those Angora goats? What fabulous yarn they make!

  4. I was just strolling along, enjoying the goats, and then I scrolled down and WHAM! my heart skipped a beat. Look at all the beautiful angora!! Holy moly!

BTW, the word verification is "gosper" and I think that is a very good word to describe the feeling of joy of discovery of beautiful fibers. :P

  5. Those look like some well cared for goats. I'm thinking about getting a couple of goats to see if I can train them to eat invasive shrubs in the prairie. I'm looking more at the Spanish goats instead of meat or hair producers.

  6. I've never seen such beautiful colors for yarn! I must be in the mood for knitting because I checked out two novels from the library that feature it. One of them was obvious about it (Needles and Pearls by Gil McNeil) and the other one not so apparent (Not My Daughter by Barbara Delinsky). It's funny because I don't even knit! Maybe it's time I learned.

  8. I love goats! & those scarves are so pretty.
I'm not surprised you like Block Island being the nature lover that you are.

  9. That makes me want to knit too. Great shots from the farm. The wasp in your next post would scare me if I encountered it while picking beans.

  10. What a grand metamorphosis. Its like taking one component of form and making an infinite amount of other forms from it. True diversity.
