Sometimes,
life just gets in the way,
repressing inspiration,
"Play, Incorporating Animistic and Magical Thinking Is Important Because It:
Fosters the healthy, creative and emotional growth of a child;
Forms the best foundation for later intellectual growth.
Provides a way in which children get to know the world
and creates possibilities for different ways of responding to it.
Fosters empathy and wonder."
I love it! Happiness incarnate.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to see a post from you!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture! Makes me want to be a kid again. They are so free, full of life, and enjoy such
simple things. Thanks for sharing. Nola
I remember playing in the leaves when we were young. Of course mom was trying to rake them up - but we had fun :)
ReplyDeleteWAY better than video games.
And to think there are those who think animism and magic are evil. Too bad they didn't retain some of that sense of wonder that serves us so well in our adult years too.
ReplyDeleteAh,,,simple joys...the best... Michelle
