The Ranger to the Rescue

In a previous post, I shared a camping experience,
but had no photos to taunt you with.
After reading my blog,
The Ranger was kind enough to access his archived photos,
and send along a few.
I'd like to share them with you now.

Early morning mist.

Such serentity.  The lake is to the right, the ocean,
out of sight, is to the left, thus, a barrier beach.
The Leach's Storm-Petrels must have been nesting
in burroughs among the tree roots
in that stand of trees in the background.

My kayak is the red one.

Ocean side.

Does it get any better than this?
This is my life.
At least when the weather cooperates!!

Thanks, Ranger!!  I appreciate you.

How wonderful of the ranger to send you the photos. I enjoyed them, and it looks like a great place, with the ocean on one side and the lake on the other.

  14. That's an awesome place to go camping. I don't know if you ever went snow camping. I'm going snow camping in February with my friends up in a cabin. That sounds fun, huh?

  18. It's more rugged than I'm used to, but what a delight it must be when the weather is nice.

Karen, I know you left a comment on my main blog, and I'm sorry but it got zapped somehow when I tried to publish it. Anyway, thanks for stopping by both of the blogs. The story one doesn't get added to very often. It's hard enough to keep up with one!

  19. Thanks for sharing, our one of my Air Cleaner business. It helps to control the indoor air quality by reducing pollutants. I hope you like it.

  20. You are quite the outdoors woman aren't you? I like camping but I'm not quite as outdoorsy as you. I do love bird watching but you are what I call a professional. Now tell me, what is a "life bird"? Is that a once in a lifetime sight of a rare bird?
