Nothing But UFO's....Well, Almost

It's already the end of January.
Where did the time go?

I signed up with Carrie at A Passion for Applique
for Nothing But UFO's in 2013
with this post
but I fell short of my mark.
There are just so many things to make,
techniques to try, babies being born,
I got side-tracked, and the month flew right by.

However,  I did complete 2 out of 3.

Here's the baby quilt I was hand-quilting,
signed, sealed, delivered, and in use.

And the small tote for my daughter.

She was at the dr. office the other day,
and one of the patients in the waiting room liked it so much,
she called me and ordered one for herself!
Oh, boy, more money for fabric!!

Here's a UFO that I finished that wasn't on my list,
also delivered to it's new owner.

A hexie Doll's Quilt for my favorite Little Princess.

I guess I could work on UFO #3 today to finish it up real fast,
but...............it's not in line at the sewing machine
or on today's list.
I'm making bibs, burp cloths, and cookies today!

Thanks, Carrie, for hosting the January edition of

You can go HERE to see all of the other finishes!!

Love the baby quilt and the tote. It is so much fun to see what other people have made. They are both beautiful and that little baby quilt model is precious! ;)

I think you did well! The baby quilt turned out so cute and the tote for your daughter is lovely. Can't believe you did those hexies for a doll quilt. She is one lucky little girl. You keep so busy with such good things and its fun to see your finished projects.Nola

You sound like me when it comes to projects, I like to have many of them going all at once so I can choose whichever suits me at the time!

Two out of three is great! I wasn't able to finish any, I hope to do better in February! :) Love your quilts and the bag.

You've been busy! No need to feel bad at all. Hand quilting a quilt takes much more time, and what an admirable effort on your part to make that one for the baby. It's wonderful. And no wonder that woman wanted a bag like your daughter's! It's great too! You're a remarkable quilter and cookie baker-decorator. Well done!

My goodness, you accomplished a lot in one month even though you say it went by so fast. You must have been so busy sewing that you didn't even notice the month of January. WTG!

Those are all lovely! I'm impressed with how much sewing you have done. The baby is adorable as is your other little one with her quilt. You can tell how proud of it she is.

Wow...great work. I'm sure glad you stopped by to say hello at I'd Rather B Birdin' to introduce yourself. That blog is for my birding photography, but I have a personal blog too...that is Hootin' Anni's

Your work is marvelous. I also enjoyed your tea party post below this. Loved your 'tiara'...yes, I would say the same for myself.

Thanks again for giving a shout out. BTW, when are you planning on coming to Corpus for a little birding? Good time of year for that down here.

You will be busy. I do like the little bag hanging on the branch a beautiful way to show it at its best.

Sounds like you're having fun making things whether they be UFOs or not!
