Cat in the Attic

Late last summer, I shared

and many of you asked for the origin of the quilt pattern.
It is called Catnap.
I had purchased the pattern many years ago
from a small quilt store when they were offering it up as a class,
and sadly, they didn't include the designer's information.
(I only purchased the pattern, I didn't take the class.)

I have since learned that it is a Pam Bono design
(I should have known just by looking at it!).

She is offering the cat pattern for free!
It's in a little different venue,
but it's the same one, and more!!

for the free pattern downloads.

Have a glorious day!

I think this winter is bringing out the catnap in all of us! That's cute and I'm sure the fans are all glad for it's re-release and updated look.

I made this pattern when I was working at Hancocks 8 years ago. My daughter thought it was creepy. She's not a fan of cats. I used flannels and sashing of a tan muslin. Nice to know who the pattern came from. I like the cats in the window version.

Thanks for the great share Karen - these are the cutest little kitties :) I've done a few things from Pam's patterns - they're not easy but they always make up beautifully.

Those cats would be a lot of fun to use in a baby quilt -- thanks for sharing the link!

I think the site was taken down after her death, is there any chance you still have the pattern or know where else I could find it?

I saw this cat on a bookshelf quilt and have been trying to find the pattern to add one to the bookshelf quilt I'm making for a friend ever since! (I'm a bunny person, so the cat pattern hunt is a little odd for me!)
