Robyn, Photo credit goes to my little sister. We each use a Canon S5IS, and the zoom isn't too shabby. This little guy wasn't too far away, however, just sitting there sunning himself and oblivious to our presence.
Nice to have you back blogging... though i hardly get on anymore and actually try to stay off the computer for the time it robs from other more important things... but checking in every now and then with you is important to me and I am always blessed to view your photos... and see the world you capture on film...awesome!!!! That is a very handsome owl!
I LOVE Barred Owls. I hear them often in our woods, but don't see them too much.
